Drum Roll Please...

And now, without any further ado, I present to you....

SPRING BREAK 2010

It started with,

A Snow Storm

During which we were stopped at 2 different wrecks for an hour each.

Great way to start the break right?

Good news is, we made it to Vegas in one piece and finally found some warm weather!

We did a little exploring around this cool little place called Red Rocks for a while
Rach is happy to be a part of it
:) Friends (:
And of course some classic pictures while on the road for hours and hours

And guess what? We made it to California too!

And of course, the first thing we did was hit up the beach

Did a little long boardingRented a tandem bike and cruised around a little bit
I miss it already
We took Rach on her first trip to the happiest place on earth (can you believe it was her first time?!)

I think she enjoyed it a lil bit.
Love Rach's mouse ears.
And acting like 10 year old girls

Teacups=Favorite

And we got very wet on this ride

We ate a LOT of these...And once again, went back to the beach
checked out some cute surfers
And took Lots and Lots of pictures

On our way home we decided to hit up Red Rocks again
But this time we decided to really bond with the rocks

TONS of fun
Little bit windy on the way out
Favorite picture of Rachael

Yah, pretty great trip overall, not gonna lie!

Next on the list for me is ridiculous amounts of homework to prep for

The Festival of Colors
AND
Hawaii!

I'll keep you all posted!
PS I *heart* Polaroids. Especially that last one

Tonight...

I was feeling ridiculously lonely. Didn't really have a reason to be feeling lonely, it was just one of those nights.

After attempting to drown my feelings in mountain dew and oreos and just when I was about to resign myself to an evening of moping, guess who calls me?

This lovely lady right here...

And guess what?

I instantly felt better!

Can I just tell you how much I love her?

Let me count the ways..

er. Reasons.

We've been bestest buds since 3rd grade, and we have just as much fun now as we did then...

We give each other blog shout outs just because we love each other! See her here

PS she's the one who talked me into this whole blogging thing. My 6 followers can thank her for the hours I KNOW you spend on here...

Whenever I'm with her, it usually ends up looking something like this...

Through thick and thin, she's ALWAYS there for me. She's one of the few people that I can call a true friend for life.

Love yah Al! Thanks for being awesome.

PS She's turning the big 2-0 on the 24th and we're gonna party like rock stars in SLC that evening... pretty freakin excited about it.

Dear Mr. Horst

I greatly appreciate your life being interesting enough to write a paper about.

I find your work fascinating, alluring, strikingly beautiful, and classy.

You will most definitely get me through the week before spring break.

Maybe, if you weren't dead I could find some way to repay you.

Best regards,

Bethany

PS
This Photo makes me want to do yoga... All. Day. Long

NOTE: Sorry to any who found these photographs offensive, or if I didn't catch some of the nudity, but he DID live in Paris most of his life so you'll have to cut him some slack and forgive me for not noticing it.

Just because I'm excited about it

So I'm in an unusually chipper mood this week! Sunshine and 40 degree weather! It's pretty much tropical around here these days!

Well, not much going on here at the moment I'm afraid! But don't you worry because in just a couple weeks, Rach, our good friend Jake, and of course myself are going on a freaking amazing spring break! I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone, but it involves a car, St George, Vegas, Newport, and LA! Yah... there will be awesome pictures I'm sure. I am taking 5 different cameras with us... Maybe 6... don't judge me. I need to figure out how to scan my polaroids onto here. Yes, I finally caved and got some polaroid film... it's so worth it. Invest if you've been interested. It WILL cost you an arm and a leg though.

In other news, Rach and I had dinner with her brother Chad (who has an amazing business btw. Check him out HERE) and her sister-in-law Kat in Salt Lake on Sunday. The weather was beautiful and Chad and Kat live right by the capital, so Rach and I walked around and took some pictures!
See below...
It was a pretty good trip overall! Good food, great company, and a learned a great new game called Bananagrams that I'm actually kind of into. If you like scrabble and word games, look into it.

Welp, that's about it for lately! Hope all of you are enjoying the weather as well!

XOXO
